Based in St.Gallen, Switzerland this group was formed by Djembéfola Yamoussa Sylla (Guinea Conakry) and Swiss Drummer / Producer Emanuel Riederer aka Ema Nuel.
Their mainidea is to create new sunmusic by combining traditional african instruments like kora, djembé, doundoun, bolon or kalimba with modern sounds, jazzkeys and hiphobeats.
15 musicians from Africa and Switzerland have been invited to play on their debut record.
As the music is made for dance, almost all compositions are based on melodic grooves of the two drummers. You can hear traditional westafrican mandigue music played by kora-griot Sadio Cisssokho from Senegal as well as jazz, neosoulvibes and southafrican music played by afrimawinner best male artist jazz 2017 Africa, Nduduzo Makhathini from South Africa on keys. On Bass is Dave Mäder (CH / Italy).
Free floating vibe music, open and spiritual, mostly instrumental, sometimes with vocals and spoken words.
